RAM Extrusion Ltd has a highly efficient plastic extrusions production facility in Worcester which is equipped with 9 single screw extrusion lines of various sizes.
RAM Extrusion have the production equipment to co-extrude, in-line punch, in-line and off-line hot stamp foiling, embossing, drilling, profile wrapping system and a cut to length service.
Our innovative design team has an extensive knowledge and experience of the plastic extrusion process which enables them to assist you in producing an extrusion product that meets your needs. All RAM Extrusion tooling is designed in-house using the latest CAD/CAM technology. This design facility ensures RAM offers customers an efficient turnaround from initial concept to the final production of all plastic extrusions.
RAM Extrusion have the capability to manufacture a wide range of plastic extrusions, and co-extrusions, in a variety of materials. Our range of thermoplastic materials extruded is constantly evolving as we work with many new extrusion materials, which offer different characteristics. Depending on the customer’s requirements we can recommend extrusion materials that offer good heat resistance, flexibility, clarity or are UV stable or lightweight.
Tooling
All of RAM’s tooling is designed in house, down to the last detail, then produced by various specialist tool makers around the UK. Unlike many extrusion companies we do not believe in leaving the design of this most critical stage of the whole extrusion process to any outside of our company and also believe that our philosophy of getting each part of the tooling actually manufactured by specialist in their field ensures we get the what we need to produce the best extruded profiles possible.

This is a brief list of the more common extrusion materials we routinely work with: UPVC (rigid PVC), Flexible PVC, Dual Hardness PVC, Cellular Polystyrene, Cellular PVC, HDPE, HIP (Polystyrene), Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, PC/ABS alloys, Nylon 6 and Clear PETG. RAM’s range of architectural seals has been designed and tested to ensure excellent protection against sound, weather, light, smoke, dust and insects.
Manufactured from quality material to the highest standards all our seals have been developed and tested to ensure their suitability for use in commercial, domestic and public buildings.
Our seals are always designed to ensure that they are 100% fit for purpose and manufactured using the most efficient materials and methods. All seals showing an E Doc symbol and stating a Db rating have been independently tested by an accredited test laboratory in order to obtain the rating stated. All Db ratings shown are for the seal when it is tested unaided by any other seal and not as a multi-seal installation.
